This is my long awaited Post about the day i met Fall Out Boy and the day i saw them LIVE!
So after the stupid Learning Journey thing i managed to convince Mrs Kwok to let Mariah [My guest] and i out of the stupid debrief. So right we get home and I couldn't convince Mariah to shower so i was like WHATEVER she changed and i jumped in the shower and didnt realise i took so long, i was rushing to change and dry my hair, i wore a vest,a pink tiger ed hardy shirt, tight black pants and my vans :D My dad arrived soon after and i was starting to freak out, it was raining and we were already late or so i thought. We picked mom up and then we ran to "BarFly" which is behind MinistryOfSound.
I convinced my parents not to follow us and they were like "Eh, alright, lets drink wine." LoL
Mariah and i walked up and i was like "OMG OMFG!!!!" Guess what?
The first thing i do when i walk in is do an impression of something or something that made the both of us laugh and the first guy we see is PETE FUCKING WENTZ!!!! WTH?!!?!!? He smiled and waved at us and stared at me, i was like "hehe...hey" and i nervously waved and walked backwards and i had to pull Mariah back with me who was glued to the spot. So we stood be hind the counter thing and i asked this snooty lady.
Chels: "Um, i wont the Channel [V] thing and im here for the Dance off"
Lady: "Um, its like over there..."
Chels: "Can we go through the back or something?"
Lady: "Uh, NO!" she snorts and i mumble a thanks before walking by Pete he stares at me again and All i can think of is "DONT LOOK JUST WALK FORWARD!" Al ong the way we see Patrick and Joe talk both of which look at me, notic im not mentioning Mariah Because she's behind me so i dont know. I pass by Andy who smiles as he coninues to eat salad and i Say hi to Rob, the production manager, and i notice Patrick watching me like "Who is she?" i just fought back the urge to blush through the whole thing and walk into the room, well area which is cut off by a curtain.
I go in and i meet the interviewer who is really sweet, he name is "Sarah". I sat next to the other contestant and her friend, Her name is Afika but i forgot her friends name haha. I got worried i was afraid she was going to be some awesome dancer or something. We waited and mimed And eating his salad when the called us out to run through the whole how to enter the room process and i wasnt nervous now, i just was making jokes with them and I could tell Sarah was beggining to like me. We waited around by the side and watched them get interviewed and Afika and i started doing random silly things and i did something like a body wave and i stopped short and burst out laughing because i noticed the whole of Fall Out Boy was Watching us, I was like HOLY SHIT!!! You could see Patrick and Joe being the most obvious ones who smiled.
Rob said one of us had to go do the interview and Afika and I argued because the last guy wasn't there yet. I decided to play my cards right and took the interview first and i told Afika since i was ddoing this, she has to dance first and Rob agreed saying "Hah! You were here first!" he smiled at me and i enjoyed small talk with Sarah . She said, "Dont worry i know th curtain is heavy so i'll help you hold it up so you have a good entrance :D" Just before that she defended me in saying but 'But i dont think it would be bad if someone holds it open for her...'
Later i sat in wait and realised that my bag was still in the room so i sent my roadie [haha Mariah] in to run after my bag. She got out just before Pete walked in, They all smiled at me and i felt like i was on air!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched Afika or tried to because i never really saw either of the contestants dances. STUPID PILLAR!!!! Well when she was done she just smiled at me and then the last contestant FINALLY came!!!! He was kind of wet cause of the rain but i started getting worried...he looked like a dancer.
"Your up Chels!" Mariah exclaimed and i was like "breathe...ok lets go..." I wasn't nervous so i hopped in and i smiled saying "Hi " and just being really natural. They all had like this knowing smile on and i think they were just pleased that i wasn't fawning all over them and that i was talking to them like normal people. I gave Andy the drawing Zan and I did of them and he said "Wow this is really good, but hey wheres the other eye?" then i just laughed and said it was the stylee. Hee showed patrick and he smiled and said it was really good and that I made him look better than he actually is and i just laughed and said no way am i that good. ... OKAY IM TOO LAZY TO CONTINUE BUT I'LL CONTINUE LATER AHAHAHAHA!!!
